Skulls and Roses

Happy Halloween everyone!! Yesterday my boyfriend and I got up early to go out to breakfast. It was a beautiful, chilly morning. Since I have been in the mood to wear Halloween themed clothing the past few days, I wore a "Gothic" edgy look. I have always found skulls fascinating and even though they are creepy, I also think they can look really cool and beautiful. I think the roses on this sweater make the skull a little less frightening and more stylish. What is one thing you unexpectedly liked in fashion?

Batman Nails, Polka Dots and Faux-Leather

So I went out with friends last night to a bar called the Iron Horse. I wanted to be warm and comfortable, but chic! I wore faux- leather pants and did a Batman design on my nails. My boyfriend is really into comics and superheros and his favorite is Batman, so of course when I saw Batman nails on Pinterest I had to recreate my own version. I tried to do Gotham buildings and the bat symbol. I think if I tried to do it again it would turn out better lol! How was your Friday?!

Spice Girls

In my last post I recreated a makeup look DulceCandy did in her latest video, and Casandra loved it so much she asked me to recreate the look on her. My boyfriend also flipped out her hair for her, since I am unable to hold a flat iron properly because of my broken wrist. Isn't he sweet to help us out?! I am lucky to have my boyfriend support my blog and take pics all the time. My outfit is a sporty "Play Boy" look with pink knee highs and cheetah sequin shorts. What do you think of this funky look?

Not Just A Wallflower

Today was a cold rainy day, but it was the perfect time to wear this military inspired jacket I got recently! I love clothing that has a masculine edgy feel, but that has very feminine details. This jacket looks ladylike because of the rhinestones and the gold flower embroidered details. What is your favorite menswear inspired look?

Good Girl Gone Bad

This look may look more appropriate for Autumn, but today was yet another rainy, overcast grey day. Luckily when I took the pics it wasn't raining, but it was hard to find good lighting. I love dresses, especially during the Spring and Summer, but since it was a little chilly I threw on tights and buckled boots. I love feeling girlie, but having a slight edge. I also did a Bohemian style braid because it looks great, even if it gets more messy in the rain. What is your favorite way to add edginess to your look?

Edgy Sophiscation

My boyfriend and I went to the park today to walk around and enjoy the river. It was chilly but not too bad. We then went out to dinner at the White House Grill which is a Mediterranean, Turkish, Greek, and Italian restaurant I have gone to since it first opened up when I was six years old. I love it there! The first time I ate there with my family, the restaurant was in a tiny building that could barely hold ten tables. It has been amazing to watch it turn into one of the most popular restaurant in my area! It is also nice to see the owner and some of the waitresses and chat with them, because they have watched me grow up. Is there a restaurant or a place that is special to you? How long have you been going there? Why is it special to you?

I like how this scarf has skulls all over it, but is purple so it is not too edgy.
