Kim Kardashian's All Black Look

  Hey guys! Today is actually Kim Kardashian's birthday so I decided to recreate another outfit of hers. Often I find things already in my closet that look vaguely like hers, which is really exciting because I love her style! I hope she is having a terrific 32nd birthday!

  One thing I have in common with Kim is the fact that we have both lost a parent to an illness. Perhaps this is part of the reason I can relate to her and her sisters. I just wanted to mention my mum today because she was one of my best friends and was always there for me. She was everything a mother should be: a wonderful listener who made me laugh and was always there to support me. Yesterday was three years since she passed away and I will never stop missing her. There has been times that my grief has overwhelmed me, simply because I wish I could have more time. More time to show her the love and affection she deserved. More time just to be with her. I will never forget my mum's gorgeous laugh and the beauty she had inside and out.

Movie with Friends

  A couple friends and I went out to see Ted, the new movie with Mila Kunis, Seth MacFarlane, and Mark Wahlberg in it and then after we went to Azteca to get tacos and drinks. The movie was great and I found it extremely funny. It is about a boy, John, that makes a wish for his teddy bear to be alive and they continue to be friends until their friendship is tested when John gets engaged. Have you guys seen it?

Bold On Bold

  Sorry I didn't do anything with my hair today! Sometimes a messy, quick ponytail is my go-to on days I am in a rush! I love this dress because it is floral print, but it has many different flower shapes, colors, and sizes. It is very ladylike because of the ruffle collar and the length. On the days that you want a more conservative length, but you don't feel like a super long dress, this is a great option because it hits at your knees. To make this outfit even bolder, I paired it with this necklace that has daggers, roses and pearls!

Playful Saturday

  So excited because tonight we are having a party at our house! We are celebrating my sister's boyfriend's brother's (Jeffery) birthday (lol that sounds complicated.) Not like full on ragers lol! Just 8-15 people having somes drinks, listening to music, and playing card games. I always love getting together with people and I have always loved throwing parties. Even in high school I threw parties where my friends and I would dance, play football, go swimming or watch scary movies. When we have casual parties I like to dress up a little but I also like to be comfortable.  This slip dress was actually given to me on my birthday from my sister and I finally got a chance to wear it! What are your favorite things to do at parties?
